1. We admitted we were powerless over the beautiful S2 Thunderbolt. 2. We came to believe that chopping a S2 is blasphemy. 3. We made a decision to turn over all our cash to the pursuit of Thunderbolt parts. 4. We continue to scan craigslist, ebay, cycle trader and local pawn shops for that neglected S2. 5. We admitted to the BadWeb, to ourselves and to other Buellers that we obsess over the Signature Series timing cover and documentation for our Thunderbolts. 6. We have stockpiled enough spare parts to actually build another S2. 7. We asked for forgiveness of all modifications, scratches and mishaps. 8. We made a list of people we outbidded for that perfect Thunderbolt and sent them pictures. 9. We are always willing to point out the beauty and functionally of the Thunderbolt to Uly riders except when their feelings get hurt. 10. We continue to take sick days to ride the Thunderbolt. 11. We sought to meet and thank Erik Buell and the people that made the Thunderbolt. 12. We carry the message of the classic Thunderbolt, it’s history and our affection to other riders so they may see and touch the most beautiful motorcycle ever made. | ||

Buelltours, does that S2 have a left front caliper? It looks like so in the picture. If it's a PM, just the caliper goes for 6 bills on eBay... | ||

Hey Ross, I had noticed that in the picture too. Then I talked to the guy on the phone who told me that even though this pic was not one of the actual bike, his S2 had the second front caliper too. I drove there to find out that this wasn't the case. Turns out the kid had no idea what he was talking about, but you should have met him yourself to understand... Bummer... | ||

Buelltours, is this one near you? http://dayton.craigslist.org/mcy/1151776234.html This looks like the same pic that was on ebay maybe two years ago. I was the highest bidder but did not meet the reserve. The seller never emailed me back. If it is the same one he has all documentation to include each service etc. | ||

Rex, I would rather have a project S2T. Half the fun for me is rebuilding them. I need to wait until Oct to decide if I am going to do another one. |
