Parts book I have shows the bushings as part of the shock assy. so replacing that itself will be difficult. Maybe if you pull the part an industrial supply co can match the bushing?

Regarding the play in the shock itself, sounds like it might be time to just buy a replacement from ebay or upgrade from one of our sponsors.

I've got a used updated shock on the floor of my garage, think it might be blown though, but if you need a replacement while you get option three done (ship to a rebuilder), you are welcome to it.

Some have found Racetech shops that will rebuild them, I used Aftershocks for mine and they custom valved it for me. I think I may have read that Traxion(sp?) Dynamics will do our shocks too? I know some here have had their forks rebuilt by them.

There isn't a Racetech shop here and their guy here didn't know anything about the Buell shock so I opted for someone who had done them before.

Oh, PM me if you want me to send this one out to you. I used it for a few weeks while my stock replacement was out to the shop.

Short version of the remote reservoir, ran it for three weeks and it was fine. Didn't bother to set up preload or the other adjustments, so it rode okay.
