Can anyone look and see how the bracket mounts to the frame, my bike is currently in the shop and I need to get some parts to mount these. Do they take a screw to a thread in the frame or is it through the frame to a nut on back. Also the mounting bracket for footpegs anyone with a service/parts manual give me a number on that?

Yes the wishbone bracket I have a set of those I am looking for how they mount to the bike. I saw in the old p/n thread that it is a screw but I need to know if it threads into the frame or if it is a nut and bolt kind of thing.

on mine the screw has a tapered head that sinks into the bracket & the nut is captured in the frame from the rear & holds it from turning

I initially though mine screwed into the frame also but after a few removals during my refurbishing I found out the there is a nylock nut on the back side of the frame which I had to hold with an open end wrench to tighten. Mine had just stuck inplace for a while due to road grime and other gunk. 2001 X-1
nylock nut part #7539Y. Screw #3103Y
Footrest mounting bracket part #50488-99YYP (Nuclear Blue)
#50488-99Y (Black)
#N0405.KYAQ (Polished Alloy)

Clevis-mounts the footpeg to frame mounting bracket- Part #50550-99Y and bolt #3804Y

As I found out about ordering parts from the old parts catalogs, they may have new part numbers for these parts but they should be referenced with the old and new numbers.
