I really have NO Idea, I've never had that happen. But I'd think it would burn off in time. I could be wrong though

We all have to become better riders, No sweatpants, no shorts. I bit the bullet and got Kevlar lined jeans and pants, seen too many in the last year alone in Law enforcement of crash living victims skin or lack of skin, more than 1/2 were not thier fault that caused them, baaaadd rash or burns. Alot if low speed too.

You might use a razor blade to carefully remove the charred plastic stuff, then polish with progressively finer abrasives until it looks right again.

If the black comes off in the process a recoat might be necessary.
