I wasn't happy with the old set up I posted. mostly because what Wilson said about gravity, and pressure etc... was keeping me up at night. So i did some rethinking here, taking what tdman said into consideration also.

You won't see most or any of the routing when the air filter goes back on. I left it off so you guys could see the results of too much thinking about a catchcan setup.

here 's the best scenario I came up with

it's an earl's fitting with a 120 degree bend.

I then ran that under the throttle body (plugged that unused emisson fitting with red shrink tubing while I was down there)

Finally,, neatly between the cylinders, and out the other side. It's all nice and downhill and/or level. The catchcan is the lowest point. The can is also vertical now for easy draining, and is doing double duty hiding that fugly unused mounting tab for the air scoop.

Looks great! I just might have to redo mine now.

the earl's fitting was about $20 shipped I bought it direct from them. It's just a -6an female to 120 degree bend hose barb. It's a really neat and slick install when it's all said and done.

I spent WAY too much time on thinking about this setup.

Are you going to be able to drain the catch can in that position?

I see you finally got a pic up in your profile. Boy that bike looks familiar.

yeah, the little petcockey deal juuuust clears the frame. It turns freely. It's also out a little farther from the frame than the pictures indicate. All good.

I gotta get a newer picture up. That's the one from when i bought it, that the other guy took. I have made some changes and will take a new picture or two tomorrow.
