I've had a lot of trouble in the past breaking or rounding off bolts due to the loctite used on them, so figured I'd go with anti-seize and safety wire instead.

What do you think?

Basically everything that requires loctite as per the service manual will get anti-seize, 60% of the SM recommended torque, and safety wired instead (except for everything in the engine will still be loctite and recommended torque)

Looks like an excellent idea.

Most people simply won't go to to the trouble to wire their fasteners.

Yours will stay put at the correct tension until you cut the wire and remove them (easily).

Good job!

Safety wire is the ultimate in "race modifications" for the street.

Reliability is a very good thing and the "serious machine" look is just a bonus.

You won't find much safety wire on a West Coast Chopper.
