Sooooo..... I've been set on selling my 2002 Triumph 955i CE for a little while now, but after searching up and down, I've found affordable insurance for it.

All but collision for 400 a year, and with collision it would be 800. It has 32k on it, but with a newer motor (7k) all it needs now is wheel bearings and it will be totally restored..... mind you the rear wheel bearings are 400 installed since it is a SSSA.

On the other hand, I have a 98 S1W Black... 24k miles, picked it up from a guy in MA. I love the bike, but I'm not so sure I want to keep the bike and pile miles on it.

It is 450 a year to cover full.....

I owe 2900 on the Triumph, have bad credit (600), and want to pay off some loans. I figure I could sell each of them for 3500-4000......

The buell has the pride and attitude, and MPG. The triumph has class, comfort, and TONS of torque/HP.

I don't know which to sell!

Should I sell the s1w and buy a 1125CR next year? Or sell the triumph and prob. never get my hands on one?

I'm on the fence! I'm heartbroken either way!

Maybe I should just sell my LS1 SS and pay everything off! But still.......

Am I greedy?

I have owned 8 bikes thru the years, mostly sport bikes but even owned a Duce. This is the only bike that ALWAYS bring a smile to my face. I never thought about keeping a bike but for a few years but this one will never leave my stable. Your S1 is a rare bike and would be much harder to replace.

Motorcycles are not a logical or financial investment. They are simply an emotional or "quality of life" investment.

Keep the bike that you can afford to have the most fun!

I don't care what people ride - just as long as they ride!

It doesn't matter which one you sell, you will regret it either way!

I love my wife...but even she knows she's higher on the "liquidation list" than my bikes are.

Roof over your head, food on the table...everything else is pure emotion. Get the Triumph on the road, ride each for a day or so, back to back if possible. *One* will speak to you, louder than the other.

OTOH....LS1s are easy to come by (and I'm a car guy, too)!

Keep all the bikes and sell something else. What ever else as long as your only selling a bike to get another bike. I would also hang onto the S1 at all costs.

I really want to hang on to the s1, but the triumph and I have been through 30k together... Dunno..... I'll sleep on it some more.
