Does anyone on this site have a 120-130HP engine in a S-1 or X-1 frame. I'm interested in how these things handle at over 150 mph.
Thank's ........Steve

At 130mph (Had no more RPMs) my M2 w/ a S-2 fairing was solid as a rock! It also was smoother than my Katana 1100.

Just like they do at 140, just steer slower due to the gyro effect of the rims......

S-2 is rock solid at 180-190,heehee.Will let you know about 200+, though Aaron has run 217. And his S-1 has run 160+.

My bike is being built 6 days from now when i drop it off, But what total hp i will be getting i wont know until it is on the dyno!

These bikes motors move in a different way than the jap 4's do. I find that the jap bikes have a gyroscopic feedback from the motor and the faster i went the harder it was to turn, Not so on the buell, it was very mild but there was a little there but much better flick ability on the buell for sure.

If your going to go 150 you better get a better shock for the rear than stock.

I took my X1 up to 100 for the first time for a short stretch a couple of days ago but the wind was unbearable. Of course the limiting factor was the size of my nuts not the wind.
Just wondering how did you guys manage to withstand the wind pressure at those astronomic speeds.

if you are sitting wrong it can be very tiresome to hang on. I like to use a really light helmet. The fairing dimensions are a major part of it. If i ride aggressive in the canyon it only takes a good 30 minutes before i start feeling tired of holding on.

I actually have a set of massaged RR-1000 Buell bodywork for the bike. Will have the talented JB2 fit it to the finished chassis so it looks as good as Aarons bike----sometime in the distant future when I have money again!!!

LOL, did you ever see the old paint job on the Bennett bros bike Jim? I've got a pic of it but can't post it with my iPhone. The fairing is painted like an open mouthed shark with a little picture of Aaron's bike on the front fender, just I'm front of the teeth : D.
