What's up with the force pipe? I read people talking about broken mounts. What's breaking and where? Besides that, how much power are these thing's making? Looks like a nice reverse cone megaphone to me, that should be able to be tuned for a lot of HP..........

Mine snapped in half 8" down on the front header, mostly from the combination of faulty exhaust gaskets and a blown front ISO. It also shook apart the loop mount up front.

mine has not broke yet, everyone compliments how awesome it sounds

it cannot be "tuned" persay, the combo is a stepped header with a hollow megaphone. works great with my race ecm

I love the way mine sounds, but it keeps breaking loose at the front mount. I have the newer style Y bracket but the silicone keeps coming out which then leaves the band clamp loose. My latest attempt is to use header tape instead of silicone. We'll have to wait and see where this gets me

Cut the front mount off and use a stainless band clamp available from the auto parts store. mount everything loose and tighten up the exhaust studs first on new gaskets. You will have to adjust the front bracket so that it does not put any stress on the pipe and tighten securely once aligned. Do the same with the rear bracket. Auto parts store exhaust hangers with rubber inserts work great. Maybe not pretty but mine have over 4k miles on them and no problems. Just make sure to bend the brackets so that they are not pushing or pulling on the pipe. I had posted pics to another Force thread a couple weeks ago .

For what its worth, you can tune it. I welded a 1.75" x6" drag pipe baffle to the opening in the front of the Force baffle. It lost a few Db's of volume but my syphincter(Wasted ten minutes in Webster's trying to confirm the spelling) & testicle dyno tells me that it picked up several ft/lbs of torque on the low end. I would imagine that wrapping the baffle extension that I made will increase back pressure further but I have not tried it yet.

I looked at your front mount, I like it. I even went and bought the band clamps. The only problem I have is that I can't figure out how to mount it to the motor. I mean it is pretty simple how you put that brace there but with the Y mount in place it seems like it might be a little tricky

Bhillberg, you could clamp the bracket between the forks of the with heavy wall stainless for spacers. Just cut the pipe as a snug fit and mark where you want to put the bracket to seperate the two halves. I have the Y bracket on my S3 and my V&H canister has spacers on either side of the mounting tab to put it in the proper(unstressed) position
