Have you ever seen a sporty with a buell header? bike has forward controls not sure if it will work just curious. THANKS BLAKE

the sporty has the frame that comes down and under the motor that i think would be all up in the way so it definitly wouldnt be a bolt on

Tried it, doesn't fit without nodding the frame or the header. I've seen it done before though.

Is there enough ground clearance on a sporty to allow a can under the engine? Or are you considering a different path for the exhaust?

I saw a cafe racer sporty with an XB pipe... but the header was modified heavily and the muffler was on the left side of the bike parallel with the frame.

don't know why they didn't just go an buy an ol tuber... to each their own.



and BTW, this particualr bike had rear sets similar to our bikes... NOW WAY standard or forward control could work (he used one of the control mounts for a muffler mount).
