i just installed my 42 mikuni and the bike rides great the only problem is the throttle cable is to long and i have alot of play in throttle. so i rerouted it to try to shorten it and i loosened the housing as much as possible but theres about an inch of play. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so how do i fix it???? | ||

Was the carb for a Buell or sportster? If not they have different throttle mounting brackets. I had to make a sleeve for my cables when I installed a CV carb off a Big Twin. | ||

should be fine. used I imagine, I bought them used for the price of those stainless ones. I never installed them yet though, they're still in the box I received them in. | ||
