I'm new to the forum. Just picked up a '96 S1 Lighting. Anyone have opinions for a good set of front and/or rear stands? Haven't been able to find "Buell specific" models. Saw a few universal ones for sale. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the Pit Bull rear stand which I use with a steel rod through the axel of my S1 & S3. I am very happy with it. Check Northern Tool for their Motrax stand.I saw it at Cycle Gear but Northern has the same item at a great price.

Welcome to BadWeb!!!

I've got the CenterStand (not available anymore), that lifts the rear up from the pegs.

I've also got a set of Pit Bull stands in the mail.

Here, go to this page, if you are really wanting a set, and call them to see what they can do:

Ditto on the welcome. My bad. Watch Cycle Gear as the have sales on a pretty regular basis. You will find this site to be a wealth of information. The problem becomes when you realize that you have been here for 2 hrs and gotten nothing else done that day

+1 on pitbull stands.

I have the regular adjustable ones and they rest on the bottom of the steel or aluminum swingarm.

That is the stand that I was refering to from Northern. I must have had the vendors mixed up.
