It wont hurt the computer the trick is where are you going to hide it its not like there are a lot of places to hide one? under the seat? If you find a good place let me know I have an interupter switch for my HID headlight and Its Fuggly sticking out under the tail |

Do you mean anti theft kill switch, The kill switch is a safety issue and is there for a quick shutdown in an emergency. |

I was thinking of doing the same thing to my bike. What I had in mind was putting a switch on the ignt key wire. So it ignition wouldn't work unless you flipped the switch first. |

old trick, switch to the coil wire. it will crank and crank, but no fire, if you are close enough you will hear them, take appropriate action! |

Limitedx1; yeah, that is true, would need to open that circuit too on an FI bike. i was only thinking of the carb'd bikes. you could still gang the switch to open both the coil feed and the fuel pump maybe??? or maybe only the fuel pump would be needed. i would need to see the schematic for an FI bike. |

A simple approach might be to put the switch in the kickstand safety switch circuit. We already have the wiring in place and it would not hurt anything. What do you think? |
