That`s the race air cleaner Kevin, the S2 hole is in the middle so it can run at a 45 degree. Also I think they will take your S3 away if they knew you were surfing S2 sites!

Al at American Sport Bike has the billet aluminum backing plates.
Very highly recommended, I have one on both of ours.


Not only are they works of billet art, they are far superior than the stock fiberglass or plastic units.

EDIT: I found it - It has S2 Bags in the subject . . . . I thought I was going crazy. It'll be on the way first thing tomorrow. As I explained, it's not mine to give or I would. So, we'll do it on a loan until you can scare one up.

I'll have to look it up tomorrow to be sure, but I'm fairly certain the stock backing plate is still available new...

Thanks Joe but the stock piece is prone to warpedge,I`m running the 3" filter.

Nice setup BB. I was going to try and set it up behind the air cleaner but I like the way you did it as well. I do not see how you routed the hose. Can you comment on that? Thanks,
