I have a quick question on the differences of the Manta tank for the Carb bikes and then FI bikes. Are they interchangeable? I ask this because I think I may have gotten shafted on a Volcano Grey tank I had bought.. Thanks | ||

the FI tanks have a sump in the tank, where the pump/filter mechanism mounts AFAIK. the carb tank only has a small sump area where the petcock is. people have converted FI tanks to carb use. the other way would be more difficult, you would need a remote pump/filter to work well. | ||

The petcock mount boss is easy to see if it is there, the pump mount and feed through are completely different. Petcock mount will have two threaded inserts with a hole into the tank between them. Dean |
