I have a quick question on the differences of the Manta tank for the Carb bikes and then FI bikes.

Are they interchangeable? I ask this because I think I may have gotten shafted on a Volcano Grey tank I had bought..

Thanks

the FI tanks have a sump in the tank, where the pump/filter mechanism mounts AFAIK. the carb tank only has a small sump area where the petcock is.

people have converted FI tanks to carb use. the other way would be more difficult, you would need a remote pump/filter to work well.

The petcock mount boss is easy to see if it is there, the pump mount and feed through are completely different. Petcock mount will have two threaded inserts with a hole into the tank between them.
