I have the battery laying down as per your X1 and it works a charm and only cost $154 Australian peso. I have a decent battery I just swapped off my XB, so I figured I could swap it in just so I can ride it home. If I did get this bike, I would be getting another Speedcell battery. 2lbs and and the size of 2 cigarette boxes, cant be beat
