Is there supposed to be an O-ring on the air/fuel mixture screw?

Idle mixture screw, yes, an oring and a washer.

Yeah, I meant idle mixture screw. Would that be above the threads or after the threads like the fuel drain plug? I bought a rebuild kit for my carb, and none of the o-rings fit up into the mixture screw. I have a feeling that that is why my bike was running like crap.

Never mind. I finally found a schematic that shows the idle mixture screw. I guess the Buell manual doesn't show it because the government doesn't want you playing with it.
