My wife just passed her Pa motorcycle permit test today! After she has completed the riders safety course in March we will be looking to buy her a Buell to call her own! She is very excited, and I am very excited for her! She wants a Blast. | ||

you can get a barely ridden blast for like 2200, i wouldnt pay over 2500, they are on craigslist religiously | ||

HAHA  she wouldn't touch my S3!  LOL! Thats my other wife, and she knows that! She's scared to ride a 1200 anyway. She's a small girl. Yeah I see Blast's all over Craigslist cheap. I'm thinking of only spending tops $1500 because shes only going to ride it for about a year to get comfortable on a bike then she hopes to graduate to an XB9R. She sat on one at the dealership and liked the way it felt, hight, reach, etc... | ||

you should be able to get a low mileage unit for less than 2000.00 now. i paid 2000.00 cash for a 2000 with 1400 miles on it. they're out there, just need to look and make your realistic offer. i have seen quite a few asking 4000.00 used!!! good luck. if we would've gotten the city cross a couple weeks ago, we would be ready to sell our blast. | ||

Pete, You and Dave are not far from me at all. I'll spare you all the mental pics of how the riding is here. I got out a couple times but my driveway required a knobby to get up and down after the last thaw. I'm in Holland Twp, 2.5mls from the Reiglesville bridge but the mail goes to Milford. I'll be happy to play tour guide though. My wife's parents are from Kingwood. Small world. |
