can you check the fork oil with out taking them apart?

Drain & refill with the specified amount. I don't think there is a way to check it. Are your seals leaking?

You have to remove the top cap and remove the spring.

Go by oil level height, not quantity.

It's all in the Factory Service Manual...

Just checked the fork oil in my 1997 S3T today ...

It was not all that hard to do ...

Was just a "THINK" and "DO" !!!

there was some stuff on the lower right axle bolt.guessing old oil? when you put the spring back in the tube, do you have t use a special tool?
