Could an S3T owner take a picture of the right hand side lower fairing mounting points? The original owner gave me the fairings, but I cant figure out how the right hand lower mounts up.

thanks

Hopefully, your right-hand lower came with the brackets, too. There is a top bracket that attaches the top of the fairing to the 'breadbox' air filter housing via two 1/4" wellnuts. The box should have them or be drilled for them. The bottom of the fairing has a large 'L' shaped bracket that attaches to the swingarm support via the large nut that's already there. Actually, the mounting pretty much suggests itself, it you hold up the fairing to the breadbox...you'll see where it goes. If you don't have the breadbox, however, you're pretty much pimped.

Wellllll.... OK... I dont have the breadbox. BUT, its hot here most of the time, and it looks great without the lowers on it anyway... Thanks for the help.

Skip the lower fairings. I agree, looks better without them. They shake like hell and need extra rubber to keep them quiet. Right mounts to bread box breather which should also go in the sh*t can. I also found that my feet would occasionally catch them when I was stopping. A little scary. Their only benefit is rain protection. If anyone wants mine they can have them. Dremel off the bread box mount and smooth it out.
