I'm gonna start a new project if my Ghost Ride is winning this year in Daytona, so I'd like to know from you guys, which specific S&S motor mount on a '98 S1WL and if I need to do some modifications?
thanks...

No mods needed as long as you keep the stroke in check--your motor mounts off the top of the cylinders. 100" is the biggest and that is pushing it.Have a 100" in my S-2 Bonneville bike and a 95" in an S-1.

wow, that bike's sick!
so that S&S motor for Sportster, basically, right?
because I'm starting to check ebay to see if I find something used, but I need to know what's good for our Buells.
the 93ci or 100ci for Sportster, right?
then I have to purchase the mount form S&S...
any other modifications? the exhaust system is gotta be completely redone, right?

S&S is not the only manufacturer of good parts. Look to axtell for rock solid cylinders or schumaker for a really nice complete package I would call baisley for heads. You might also just call nrhs or rev performance.
