Soorrry if this has been disscused/asked already, If it was, I must have been absent that day. But do the clubman bars from an 1125CR fit on tubers, as in X1's

I want to say yes, but dont quote me on it.

Not sure on tank interference either.

the air box on the 1125cr is tiny compared to the manta ray tank on our X1s... i would say yes... but not 100%

We're getting ready to convert one of our CRs to the riser bars. I'll snag the clubmans one night and take 'em home to see how they work on my S1W.

ive got a set, not yet installed, they look like they will be fine as far as the tank since they kick out toward the front so much and they have a mellow pull back and downward bend, the biggest issue i have seen so far is that they are a fat bar (1 1/8") and our tubers have 7/8" bars and mounts, there are some aftermarket options out there though.

allright, so i mocked up the cr clubmans to my s1 tonight, they are just ziptied in place until i get some aftermarket fatbar mounts (which means I need to get some cash first, anyone need a V&H ss2r?) as you can see by the photos, there is plenty of room from lock to lock with the manta tanks....

Hey fellas, I have a manta ray tank on my S-1. what I have done to get a lower and farther forward reach is get 7/8 club man's and press them flat and they work like a charm with no clearance issues and you can usually get them pretty cheap($20-$40). I've had three sets on mine over the years.

lander, i just drilled a couple of holes in the black plastic part on the cr headlight assm. then twisted the metal ends of the s1 headlight mounts to follow the angle of the cr headlights then bolted it up using the bolt holes for the original headlamp. I then fabed some upper supports that i mounted to the bike using the bolts that mount the gauge pod, and then mounted the other side to the headlight assm. upper mount holes. I'm sure there is a more profesional way to do it but it looked just fine and was way secure, I have to rethink the upper mount idea now that I have switched to the cr bars the old bar mounts wont work

and if anyone wants a set of those 7/8 clubmans I have a set that i will sell for 25 plus shipping, brand new, I didnt like how much downward angle they had, thus the cr bars. Didnt think about the fact that you could press them flat, but does that weaken the bars?

BM , I don't think strength is compromised. I replaced the first set after going down in the rain and I don't think any bar would've survived without bending. The second set was replaced for some chrome ones. Surprisingly after pressing them flat no chrome flake or crack were noticed and I've done another chrome set for somebody else with no chipping.
