Rather then start a new thread, quick question. Will the forcewinder give my knee more clearance then my current carbon ham can? I'm a little over 6'3"

14d- Yes, it provides more clearance than the ham can. That is why many people change to the Forcewinder.

P-Bird the regiular force winder will work you will have to re tap the the TB for the inch screws to hold the fitting, you will want banjo bolts for the breathers the force aly bolts should be avoided

a catch can and a bit of messing and whaller ( so. france ) the plus is no crap in the motor, the minus is that the banjo bolts should be put in with loctite and allowed to set before riding, BTW I used RED loctite, the bastiges will jump ship
with out serious stay here applied.
also buy some dos nylon washers to seal the banjos the fiber washers suck.

My bike is dirty but it does not leak oil, ever.......

Exactly. The rest of the housing does not move.

Hey guys what parts do you need to mount the econo winder the plastic 1/2 " spacer, Gasket. I just noticed my spacer has a crack in it and it may not be re-usable, So if it is not, Do i need to buy a spacer to get it away from the fuel cell.

Also i plugged the 2 holes with a 1/2 pvc pipe cap and epoxied into place, Now i just need bolt it up and was a little unsure what parts i needed to re-use to get it on there. Hey i was also wondering with the length of the snorkel will it cause it to crack at the mounting points. Did any of you guys re-enforce the snorkel from shaking or breaking off the original snorkel

Preybird - Check out this spacer from American Sport Bike, it has a hole already for the AIT sensor. They also have one without the hole for a carb. This will allow you to upgrade to any 40mmCV intake in the future.

I have the rubber grommet that mount's between airbox and intake, The plastic spacer and a u shaped metal bracket. Now if i put a gasket between the spacer (1) on the intake side (1) on the other side of the plastic spacer against the snorkel and the metal bracket as the last piece on the outer side of the snorkel and then the 3 bolts through the bracket and spacer to bolt it all down! Is this the way any of you guys have done this?
I wanted to shorten the snorkel and take some of the load off of it by shortening the tube length so it doesn't break! I wont have bike pics until Thursday when i can get a day off. I was hoping some of you guys here had a couple you would post them for me!

You do not want to make any shorter than you have too(it is factory tuned) ...

All three holes are to be plug'ed ...

Make sure you drill 4 holes every 15 degrees so the JB Weld will have something to keep the plugs from being sucked into the intake ...

If you install it correctly it will not brake ...

Yes kalai that's the part number, I used cold water 1/2 inch caps they barely fit in the holes and have a nice lip at the top to keep em from going any further then i used plastic epoxy to fix them in. I took a saw to them and cut 1/2" off to shorten them as not to obstruct the air going past them. Now i know it was factory tuned length but i also am using the round billet style k&n intake filter and it has not been a problem so far. So i may just shorten it to take out the load a little.
