Okay-so forgive me if this appears somewhere else-I can't find it.

I found a Scorpion exhaust for a 99 M2, w/2.5 inlet. Will this fit an 02? The 02 is (I believe) a 2.5 inlet also, but are there any other differences? Mounting brackets, etc.?

Anybody have any experience w/the Scorpion exhaust?
Thanks.

Didn't know Scorpion made a pipe for the tubers.

Short answer is, er, probably.

For your shopping data all 99 and up tube framed Buells ran a 2 1/2" pipe. The 98 S1W (White Lightning) also ran the 2 1/2" exhaust. So any slip on spec'd for any of those bikes should fit.

If, however, you are buying a full system - the X1's and S3's have a O2 sensor in line, so to run a pipe spec'd for them you'd just have to plug the sensor hole.

Honestly, if thats the pipe im thinking of, its on ebay right? Then the brackets and other connecting pipes look like something off of a rice burner. that does not look like a buell pipe.

I very well could be wrong

Plus, the one I found on eBay mentioned a 2" inlet, not 2.5".

Yes, it will.

As long as it's a 2.5" inlet, it will be fine.

I don't have one, but I see them ebay all the time.

Thanks, all. Yes-it's on ebay. They have it listed as fitting 98-99 w/2.5" inlet. I may end up w/it in the long run, but am working to scrape $ for a new seat...
