I mentioned in another post about putting a new handle bar set up on my bike, well today I got the final piece and just finished putting them all on. I got a top clamp from Precision Engineering, Buell traction grips from American Sport Bike, and some superbike bars from ebay. Also I bought a new choke cable from American Sport Bike, replaced the breather filter I had with a coke can that my wife painted black for me, and lastly I put a clock on my dash so I know what time it is when riding. Here are some pictures of this stuff.

Unfortunatly I can not ride it until tomorrow because when I was putting my carb back on I broke one of the head breather bolts.

Yea I have to go when the Harley shop opens to see if they have head breather bolts because I twisted the head off of them. So If they don't have them I will try kays in nolanville If not then I have to order them.

also I have another plate for those bars but it is for the s1 type tank so I was going to put the bars on that plate and see if anyone wanted to buy them on here or I was going to put them on ebay.

Yea I do and all it is is two metal rectangle plates with 4 screws drilled in to it two for the s3 mount on the frame and two for the xb bracket.

as for the turn signals the back ones are from a stock sportster. The front ones im not sure were my dad got them from they were in the his garage. Here is a link were I found them on j&p's web site. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/427894.html?1231685723

Thanks firebolt! I went out and looked, i assume the s3 mounts are the two tubes welded onto the kneck of the bike. How do the headlights compare?

yes those two tubes are for mounting the s3 front end as these are the same frames. I never had the m2 head light so I do not know. I bought the bike like that. I know these head lights look just like my old 2003 firebolt I had several years ago.

I just took a little 15 minute test ride and I must say this set up is so much better for me than the crossroads bars were. I don't have to suport my self at all with the handle bars. In fact I barley had any pressure on them at all except to turn. Turning seemed easier. The bike felt almost like I was riding a dirt bike. I feel like I could ride it for ever with out the pains I felt before. I should have done this with I first got the bike. All I can say is WOW!

Nice Job! Are the mirrors XB? They look alittle tipped up and I saw some extra holes around the mounting base.

no they are for a ninja. the extra holes were from some funky mirrors that was on it when I got it that you could not see anything out of.

that looked like these:

eventually I plan to get a better firebolt fairing and some xb mirrors but for now the stuff I have on there will hold me until then.
