I listed my '01 S3T in the classifieds for $3850. It has about 11,000 miles and is in nearly perfect condition. Is that a reasonable price? Doesn't anyone buy bikes in the winter anymore?

In my short time on this forum, I have noticed that BWB shoppers are the cheapest bunch of tightwads ever!

I believe your bike is a fine example of its kind and your price is more than just. The venue you chose is not a good one for your purposes though. Perhaps listing on Craigs or other regional ads.

You did notice that your bags were wanted for someones own bike completion, they would've probably wanted them for next to nothing then would have wrote dirty stuff about you parting out your "one of a kind" to some rat bastard for a chopper project, point is, unless you want to give it away, advertize it somewhere more effective.

my.02

P.S. I love your bike and its color, but alas no money.

Put the stock bread_box air cleaner and stock mirrors back on and you'll get more interest. The price you're asking is about right in stock condition.

Also the T model is missing the bags and fairing lowers. To be fair that would knock off the price a bit to someone looking for a T model.

All of the O/E stuff is with it Steve. The bags have some stress cracks at the mount points which have been repaired, but the bike is 100% and in great shape.

I'm just ashamed for all of us broke a$$ badwebbers. This one should be saved before some mutant maker comes up with enough money to kill this one!

Price is plenty fair. I bought my S2 with all the T fittings on it a couple years ago, 17k miles, $3500. Mid-high 3k seems to be par for most tubers these days...

I think the price is low. It looks to be in good condition. I would think 4,500 would be low but like Ratbuell said they are going between 3 to 3.5. I bought my 96 S2T for 4,500 and felt like I got the deal of the century and still do. I stole my 95 S2 for 3,700. I know I will probably sell the 95 S2 and have been kicking around a price and what I ask for it I will not get it but that is ok by me, I will not sell it cheap just so someone can have a chopper project.

mine are all for sale-$15000each. so far no takers. guess i'll have to keep them. your price is fine for a nice bike. the problem here is that most of us have a Buell already(or more) and the price has to be cheap to generate interest. JMO
those are some nice wheels on yours.

This one should be talked up and sold to someone who can keep it intact.

Hey Diamond, consider installments?

Sorry. Can't do installments. Need the cash but if it doesn't sell at that price I might keep it. I would much rather sell it to a fellow Badwebber who will appreciate it than to someone who can't understand Buells.

There's been a similar bike on Craigslist here in Denver -- same miles but in Amazon Green -- he's asking $4600 hope he holds his price and gets it -- mines pretty much the same and I might part with it if I could sell it for the same $5000 I paid for it as a new leftover 3 years ago -- Of course I'd use the proceeds to pick up an S1 as a project bike --
