I have a question for the group. I have an OEM rear fender I'm going to put on my S1W (the big one with the license plate mount on it). It has some spots in the CF where the clearcoat/epoxy/whatever the top layer is, has worn off. It's mostly at the 90 degree corner where the top of the fender turns down and becomes the license plate mount surface. What's the best way to fill this / reseal it? It's not fraying the fibers, but it's sorta pitted I guess is the best way to describe it.

Frank - the rest of it polished up great! I also converted the tag light to LED since it's off and I had to wire up a new pigtail anyway... : ) Now I need to convert my Uly to an LED tag light...

Good deal Joe... You know that fender is just about the way it came from the factory. I was never impressed with the look of the finish on it. I look forward to seeing it on your S1W.

Frank - most of it came up real nice. I did have to get a bunch of white splatter off it, it felt like latex paint...did you roller-paint a wall while it was hanging nearby? LOL. I got most of the scratches off from where the tag was mounted (I know, there's gonna be another tag there covering most of 'em...), it's just that rear top corner is a little pitted. If it isn't an easy fix, I'll let it go. I may try just some fingernail polish on it, see if that helps fill the gaps any. It's good and solid, though - no cracks or chips anywhere. Thanks again!
