Do not use old parts that are smaller it will grenade!! As for paying to fix it try and at least (ASK FOR DISCOUNTED LABOR) If it was my shop i would cut the price to keep you happy and shopping with me, And not somewhere else because your gonna shop somewhere! |

My "thing": I'd like to hear, from CP, exactly how an installer could've done that(#1), and (#2) NOT had it fail until now.... I'd probably remind them (although, NOT recommended), this is the age of the internet, the piston says CP right on the bottom, and the people at Wiseco don't have pictures of their broken 1250 pistons all over the 'net.... |

There used to be, in the old HD books, guidelines on how much more oversize one piston could be over the other... |

And any court worth it's salt (with the exception of Court Canfield, of course) would toss that, based on the age of the repair, and nature of the vehicle. |
