I was just trying to reinstall my tail light lens on my 00 X1 and the lens cracked. Any idea on the p/n and where is a good place to get it from?

I just found one on americansportbike.com but it says it's for a M2. Will this work on my X1? This portion kinda confused me "Use with X1 or S1 LP relocators to stay quasi-legal."

Yes i have the clear on from them. Just call al lighton at American sport bike. If you have any doubts he got the one i needed For me.
Also there is a company on e-bay that sells them to american sport bike called clear alternatives.

Or the dealer for o.e.m call a buell dealer sometimes the guys working there have a buell and also have upgraded the tail light lens and still have the stock red one kicking around, I had 2 shops here offer it to me for free! But i was after a clear one, and a led bulb!

would that mean that you have a red one sitting around that you don't need? The only problem with American sport bike is the $20 minimum for orders. The lens is $10 bucks so then I have to order 2 or get $10 worth of stuff I don't want!

X1, S1, M2, Ducati Monster, and blast, all the same lens. My bro got one from Ebay that has blinkers and license LEDs in one unit. It is nice.

Ducati is the same? Would this work then?

www.desmotimes.com/product149.htm

seems cheaper than any similar setup for buell that I have found

looks like its what you need, there are some clear alternatives brand on ebay all the time, I think they might be a little cheaper and give you the option of clear, smoke, blue, or yellow lenses, i had a smoke one on my s1 for a while, it worked just fine, but when i ditched my saddle bags, i ditched the light and put my stock set up back on mainly for safety.
