Yep. My S1W stem came from CJBURR, who used his rubbermount XL stem and tuber trees when he put the S1W front end on his rubbermount XL.

The tuber stem is a tad short for my steering neck, which probably isn't a big deal, but I'm going to swap them out anyway.

Check out J&P they have a sensor to read the bolt heads of the rear sprocket that might work with a newer digital speedometer.

Matt sorry I did not know that you had talked to Jodie on the conversion, yes the dollars add up quick, Jodie having the tools that he has [ AND the SKILLS ] saved a large sum making some of the odd bits, the swing arm spacers for the arm mount are one thing that come to mind the other is the shock mount setup.
Heat the lower tree and tap the stem out with a few light taps of a hammer,
One last thought the later buells have an electronic speedo I did not look closely at yours was it electric or cable?

Come to think of it you mentioned that you had an inverted front end, Yes I'm old and slow and besides I slept since I saw you last

BTW I will not be going to mb6, I hope to make the next october gig, I hope that you will too.

Oldog, my stem did not come out with just some heat and a hammer. I had to use a standard hydraulic press to get it out.

Pirate mine did I guess there is some variation in the tollerence on the aluminum lower tree, I heated the bearing race on the lower to replace it ( remove it ) and the pin moved in the tree I had to heat the lower tree and then re position the tree on the stem
