Next step is to remove the foam residue from the inside of the seat pan and do some fiberglass layup to reinforce the rear part of the seat pan. It flexes a little to much in my opinion when loading the backrest bracket. Since taking those photos I've notched the foam and it lays in real nice with the top of the bracket flush with the seating surface of the foam. I will have to glue back in a 3/4" x 3/4" piece of foam right behind the bracket. Hope these show you what you wanted to see. Did you make the bracket yourself or did you modify it from a manufactured product? Is that backrest a Corbin? The back rest is a Corbin and I made the bracket out of some stainless steel. I have some more photos to post since I completed it.
