How does the rear hugger attach for the square tube swing arm? I have nothing on the right hand side that would a hugger would bolt onto.

R/S has 2 holes on a bracket on upper side of arm, 2 well plugs go here with 2 screws attaching the hugger. 2 more on bottom attach the lower belt guard the same way.

I have a CF rear hugger on my S1. The right side bolts to the bracket on the top of the right side of the steel swing arm

I'm betting you're swingarm is older than '96.
