In this picture you see the front fender and the big ol' orange reflectors. I was lookin at it and want to find out if anyone knows

where to get a smoked/tinted reflectors of the same size?

Also what have others done to change the color of the fork legs, powder, anodized, painted, chrome???

There's probably a law against doing that, but what the heck... Do they still sell rattle-cans of window tint? I think H-D sells those reflectors really cheap, so it won't cost you much if it doesn't work.

I was wondering if that fender will fit my S3T. My old one broke off at the rear mounts, and I would like to go with a tire-hugger type fender, instead of the "Air Scoop" that I have now.

OOPS I took mine off when I painted it and never replaced them. On the bright side it still passes NYS inspection.

When I put the front fender on my Mutant with the stock Buell front end, it will NOT have reflectors on it!

I took the reflectors off my bike when i forst got it, and that was 10 years ago!
I've been stopped by the Cops a few times in those 10 years, and i've never been hasseled by not having reflectors...

I'm usually caught doing something way more stupid anyway, so i guess the refloctors aren't even noticed...lol

As far as I know, they only require the vehicles to have them when sold new. I mean, I never got a ticket for no reflectors on my S2, sportster, FXD or my '67 Chevy longwide but who knows...

If you want to try it, hobby shops usually have Testors brand rattlecans. They make a smoke spraypaint for plastic models ("window tint" for model cars) - should work fine on plastic reflectors.
