How easy is it to switch to one of the wheels with the rotor mounted on the edge of the rim. Would i just need one of the rims and a newer caliper? Or would i need new fork as well? Also is this upgrade worth the cost? And about how much do you think it would cost?

Easiest way to put the wheel on it is by swapping out the whole front end. it has been done and documented here, might be in the knowledge vault. Joesbuell and Sanchez had threads on it, Joes is the more recent one, he went all out and put an XB swingarm and suspension on his tuber too, it's really cool.
