So i got into the intake seals today man that job sucks,The front intake seal was totally blow, so i installed new seals front and rear also i changed the 2 seals on the throttle body put it all back together no leaks i have pics of the bad seal, So i ride it 18 miles and it still feels the same the low end idle problem is gone and feels nice and crisp, But if you hammer the throttle it totally cuts out. I am going to try and get fuel pressure tested but today is my only day off and the intake seals took me 4hrs well i did some other stuff, cleaned out intake completely loose oil breather bolt made a mess, Found a gasket missing on inside snorkel mount plate made my own from gasket paper, I pulled injectors and checked o-rings they were ok. OHH nice my bro is gonna let me try his fuel cell that we know works and use his filter and see what it does!!! will post results later gtg

Hey Bird, last night I pulled the Race ECM prom data for a couple of badwebbers,

I noticed if with the engine off when the throttle is abruptly turned to the stop the timing values for the injectors drop to zero,
if you roll it open slowly they increase as the feed opens,

perhaps if the throttle is not whacked open it will not cut off.

hey old dog i just did a lot of part swapping from my friend who owns the ghost rider bike, his bike all of a sudden the rocker box bolts came loose and he blew the original gasket right out. So i drove my bike to his house by the way he is my brother. so we used his air cleaner that was a race cleaner and adapter plate and i used the paper gasket i made to make seal. The bike ran better. But the same problem happened so we used his fuel cell sill the same problem. so we used his ecm the [race] ecm and i had the supertrapp pipe already on it. This totally solved the problem. I just had to know if the parts i.e. intake seals on the throttle body and the intake seals were good so i put in new seals on the whole intake throttle body x2 and intake manifold seals x2 it took 4.5 hours with a little cleaning and some minor work on other stuff, All bike parts should be cleaned before new parts are installed! And this bike was mess. So i had a little question if the o2 sensor is grounded to the exhaust system? What would happen if say you were tightening the rear exhaust header flang bolt and you hit the battery with the ratchet and caused a direct currant jolt to the o2 sensor wire and the socket ratchet used to tighten the exhaust bolt arced on terminal would it short out the ecm because when i smell the black connector of the ecm it smells like a short or burnt wire i really think this is the cause of the problem as this ala started when muffler broke as a master mechanic did the work for me and i was standing there and i watched it arc heard the sound of a electric arc so i said what was that and he oops and i didnt think of it untill we pulled the ecm out just wondering if the ground was interupted because the direct currant to the ecm which actually caused the problem! As the battery terminal has a deep arc mark on the terminal. When we switched them out the ecms it ran good and we did a tps reset and a afv reset and that solved the second gear hiccup that developed after original install. bike runs so so awsome now!!!

I have an idea and a question,
If you have ECM spy check the output of the 02 sensor, with the good ecm via spy,

then check the same value with the old ecm

I would not be totaly shocked if the input may have gotten whacked

would you mind doing that I am realy curious.

hhmm you mean use spy during engine operation i didnt even think of re-checking values to get a clue to whats going on with old ecm thats a good idea ill do that tonight if i got time.
