Author Message   Phelan Posted on Monday, September 01, 2008 - 10:11 pm:        I couldn't believe it. I was riding down the road and I saw a bike going the other direction. I saw the silouhette of a Buell, and I noticed the signature aluminum oil tank under the tail, so I turned around and chased him down. We pulled into the post office parking lot, looked over eachother's bikes and talked about them for about 30 min. His is a '96 S2T. He's owned it since '99; It's Black Sapphire Pearl (like mine was), has an S3 front fender and no bags or lowers (he wrecked it and the dealership rebuilt it), standard S2 bars, but more imporantly- Force exhaust and Forcewinder (like mine) and Axtell 88" kit and heads and cams by Carl's Speed shop (like I wish I had)! It was great to see another S2 on the road. It's only the 4th Buell I've seen in Amarillo and the 4th S2 I've seen anywhere, ever (including mine). I gave him the web addresses to here and the XL Forum so hopefully he'll show up and become a member. (Message edited by ebutch on September 07, 2008)   Pizzaboy Posted on Thursday, September 11, 2008 - 01:52 am:        WOW!!! that picture makes my eyes bleed, it hurts soo bad to see that!!! however... that S2 DOES have the mod on it, i can see!!! ive seen my S2 in a similar position to that one a time or 2. nonetheless im done dropping is as of this year. paint jobs and fairings start getting expensive... plus there not an endless supply of replacement parts to put everything back together!!
