'97 Cyclone Vibration in the bars mostly ,after warm-up and riding about 30 min. which I just considered typical.After the bike gets hot,about 45 min. the vibration gets worse,not only in the bars but also in the seat.Is this also typical or do I need to start looking at mounts/isolaters ? Visual inspection shows no obvious failure with isolaters.Recalls are up to date.

Yes, look at your isolators for sure. The bike is supposed to smooth out above idle. I also noticed if the bike hasn't run for awhile, the vibration is initially worse, then loosens up after 20min or so of riding.

If your prob seems to be related to the engine heating up, then it may not be the isolators, but the engine itself (though I have no idea what would cause that past idle).

Good luck

Do a THOROUGH check of the exhaust as well.

I noticed on both my M2 & X1 that when the "shoe" broke, vibrations became VERY pronounced at specific rpm's that were well above idle.

Hope it's something simple/easy to find. Keep us posted.

"shoe" = http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/17095.html

The race exhaust "shoe" on the front hanger. Destroyed 1 on both bikes at different times, but same symptoms.
