Matt   Lake_bueller Posted on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - 11:13 am:        Matt... The local paint guy that did my S1W tank tried some tricks that have held up well for the past 4 years. He put down a "barrier" coat of some type as a first base coat. I'm not sure what he used but it seems to be doing the trick. After the intial base coat, it was painted as normal. Stock base, paint & topcoat.
