before i had my cam cover cut down, my engine was relatively quiet.. now, i have a lot of lifter noise...the bike runs very good, but is noisey... anyone else cut down their cam cover notice more noise? i guess i could throw a can of stp in there, like the old days..

Part of the reason that cam cover was made the way it was. It cut down on that noise.
