So I got off of work a little early today and decided to go dyno the X1 finally. So here are the results...I was told to expect somewhere around 90HP and 80TQ after a tune and the full d&D, the bike was WAY lean at first, then just gets flooded with gas because of the race ecm...we will have to wait and see

Doesnt look too bad.

With a tune, it should look a bit better. Good to see its running good...

Heh. my X1 still leaks.
I fixed the problem by getting a 2008 XB12X.

(no. I didn't sell my X1. From my cold dead hands....)

As long as you still have that ole Ironhead, all is well(not that I foresee you getting rid of it)....

My X1 is fairly dry with organic oil but I want to change to Amsoil synthetic and I've been advised that it will leak like a rainforest...opinions?

I switched my 167k mile Rodeo to Mobil 1 from conventional @ the 118k mark. Heard all sorts of remarks, arguments, etc.

Only thing to watch for, would be dried out gaskets, that are sludge sealed... the syn does have more detergents, which, in turn could cause a leak....

I got lucky with my rodeo.... still not a drop out of it....

Switched from conv. 20W50 to Amsoil 20W50 last year on '01 S3 with 12,000 miles. No leaks.

I drained her and dumped in 2qts of fresh Amsoil 20-50. The crap that came out was nasty!
