If that's for an XB12, it won't work on any year M2. You need one specific for an 01-02 M2; the 99-00 M2 race ecm won't work.

The race ecm by itself really doesn't do much for a stock bike. A more sudden hit by the rev limiter was all I could feel... but even the stock ignition could let me hit the rev limit.

The "beauty" of the M2 is that you have a carb which YOU can adjust to match any intake/exhaust changes you make.

As such, the only real benefit you will gain from a race ECM on it is a slightly higher rev limit.

If you are deadset on getting 1, DJ is correct, you need a specific ECM for an 01-02 M2. They are getting harder & harder to find, so you will need to watch eBay & Craig's list regularly.

The above comments in no way reflect the official opinions of BadWeb or Buell. YMMV. No refunds given if you disagree with my $0.02 opinions.}}

Dyno chart from the Knowledge Vault. This is for a 99-00 M2.

I'm thinking the minor difference in advance curve probably has more influence on a modified engine, and the harder rev limit lets you stay closer to the cut off point without the ignition tapping you on the shoulder before 'lights out'.
