Well the Harley/Buell test drive wagon came to town last weekend. I went down to Test an XB12XT. Ive been looking at the Ulysses for awhile because of the hard bags but I'm not interested in off roading so when the XT came out my interest was piqued. Although Id be much more excited if they'd put a Firebolt frontend on that thing. It was my first ride on any XB and I have to say the suspension was a lightyear better than on my M2. Ive heard lots about the bad stock suspension on the tubers but I never understood till I jumped on that XB. Ride and handling were awesome. However not all was rosy maybe its just me but seat of the pants dyno was disappointed. Torque and throttle response on the XB felt mushy and Lazy. Did I just ride a poorly setup XB?

The 2008 bikes need an ECU reflash to run right.
My 2008 XB12X was really REALLY lazy off the line and running fatty when I got it.
They reflashed it and I gained a few MPG and lots of wheelies.
I have almost 5000 miles onit now and it's felling like it's finally loosening up.
