Hi All, I made up these stainless steel and brass breather bolts for my M2 Cyclone. I purchased an aftermarket air cleaner from ebay, and the guy that designed it said it's designed to use a certain Buell breather bolt that sells for $5 according to him. My dealer didn't have any in stock, and he told me they were $20 each anyway. Seems like a lot of money for a straight bolt that accepts a hose on the end.
Just curious if anyone here could use a set like this ??? The brass barbed fitting grabs a 1/4" I.D. hose and doesn't require any clamp, and the length can be trimmed as necessary. Thanks, Shoo

The aircleaner I purchased:

Hi Chasespeed, It's pretty simple. It has two holes in the back that are in line with the breather holes in the heads. You stick a section of hose into each hole and then push these hoses onto the breather bolts. This routes your breathers right to the aircleaner with no separate breather needed. The only problem is the stock bolts on my M2 are both different. The rear cylinder bolt has a barb on it for putting a hose on, and the front bolt is a hollow allen bolt that has a short section of copper tubing just pushed inside it. My thinking was oil would weep around this sloppy front bolt arrangement and leak down upon my beautiful Cyclone. Thought I'd come up with something better, Shoo

shoo over time the filter will likely drool on your pretty scooter, running the breathers out of the filter housing or using the XB crank vent setup is likely a better fix

nice job on the bolts!
