Author Message   Onahog Posted on Saturday, June 21, 2008 - 10:11 pm:        Well guys...the RS is up and runnin...see photos.... This rides toally different than my S2 or 3. Try one if ya get the chance! Anyhow, Many Thx to all ya BWBs that helped and Thx to Tom @ EFB designs. Tom provided me with parts,manuals and the build sheet on the bike.. It was started on 3/27/90, and finished on 3/30/90...3 days to build it.. Assembled by K.Gondon & D.Loung It was shipped to Mount Vernon / Illinois Hd. I have also contacted them, but there records dont go back that far they siad... Anyhow, they are providing me with a new dip dot{one on bike was pretty tired}, as well as a dealer sticker... I was fairly impressed. I assembled it using the original patina and it actually came up pretty good for its age. Now just a few little details and its "Good ta Go!" The home coming isnt gonna happen for me..Just too far to ride by myself and not enough for me to take in...Ive bin to elkart a few times already, so all i really wanted to see was the factory tour & museum ,but,it woulda bin nice to meet you guys tho...... Sturgis is in the works tho...It will be my 26th cons. year there...Every year i say Im not going next year and always do... I only go for a few days now tho...To many Yuppie RUBS there for me now. They dropped Buell a long time back, then sold the dealership and moved to NC.
