Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has owned/seen any carbon fiber for an x1 from the East Carbon Company. They have really great prices on it, but I don't know what the quality is like. I want to buy their front fender, tank, windscreen, and gauge cover. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck |

You get what you pay for. American Sport Bike has probably the best aftermarket Carbon I have seen offered to date... *this from the guy with the Carbon Fiber X1* Chase |

I second that, American Sport Bike has what you need. Yes, it is a bit more but you pay for what you get in quality no doubt. I will never consider anything else after having been dealt some junk off of fleabay. |

That stuff from East Carbon Company on ebay is a pain. Doesn't quite fit right a lot of adjusting. I have a carbon under seat pan from Al Lighton (americansportbike). bought it used instead of new, bolt right in. GREAT quality. |

I have several aftermarket pieces of carbon and Al has the best fit, finish and quality of any of it. |

I love my American Sport Bike carbon fibre S2 front fender. That being said, I plan on having Airtech build the rest of my body panels in CF just because I haven't found another company that I feel is equipped for the task. A bit pricey, but the end result will be worth it (who wouldn't love a Carbon Fibre S2?). Just for the front fairing the quote was $1000 to build. |
