Does anyone know what kind of plastic the bodywork on a 2002 M2 is made of?

I have a tail section with a crack that I want to fix but I don't know what would be the best way to do it.

Advice and recommendations would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

I had a crack on my tail section(no not that one!) under the seat. It was starting to really shake bad at idle, so I sanded down around the crack(again this is underseat), drilled a hole in the crack and then put ABS glue on it. It is the black glue used to fit black ABS pipes together, get it at Home Depot. Put some tape on the underside if you have to drill though, so the glue doesn't drip on anything else. So far so good.
