Buell's First Roadracer
Erik purchased the patent rights and all tooling from Barton UK.
The Barton was used in the movie classic...Silver Dream Racer.
Came across this pic of me at Summit Points turn 10, in 1985.

I've actually ridden and tuned on that bike(not raced it)
that is Jeff Atwell at Summit Point Raceway Circa 1980's if I'm not mistaken. I asked Jeff to dig up that picture for you guys a few weeks ago. Figure you'd like it.
Thanks Jeff for finding that photo. That bike is now back in Erik Buells' collection

For you "newbie" old school Buellers...I believe that bike is on display at the factory. It's right inside the door at the main office entrance.
