Dave, I am home for the nite...

Give me a call, and I will walk you through it...

BUT, for reading purpose...

the lines FEED between the case, and the swing arm mount... its a damn PITA because of the battery tray, and was made a thousand times worse when I put these stainless lines in...

BUT, the lower line*connected tot he drain) off the oil bag, goes to the rear spot on the oil pump...

The high line goes to the one thats ABOVE the line that goes to the filter housing(if that makes any sense)...

Well, in the 55k mi that I have had the bike, I have never removed the starter...

SO, I dont know what you would need to remove it for.... BUT....

The speed sensor... okay...

Remember where that connector was on the right side, just under the battery tray....

WELL, the speed sensor has a single allen head bolt holding into the case...in the same area... you wont miss it... in fact, one of those connectors is connected to it...

Pulling the battery out will make the oil ine work easier, but, the starter????????
