So, ive read 2 different things, one place i read that if you upgrade to the aluminum swingarm you need the shorter shock, but i was under the impression that was dependent of the front shock mount.

I have a works fully adjustable rear shock, but its the longer version, will this work when i put on my newer swingarm?

Yep, it's the front mount that's different. It'll fit. If it doesn't, change the front mount.

Fullauto=100% correct. : )

The aluminum schwingarms originally came with the long shock, so, we know they'll fit.
