Hello all, I'm the new guy here. Love the site, already implementing a lot of the mods you have on this site. However, I would like to know if its possible to use an M2 dash panel to replace the one on my X1. If yes are the speedo and tach able to be removed from the old dash and used? See recently I bought a Rogue fairing from Airtech and the gauges being uneven in the old dash don't look quite right, if I can use the M2 dash, I think it might look better. Any input is appreciated, thx

Can't see why not , the gauges come out on an M2, should be the same on an X1.

i have done the opposite, replaced my M2 dash with an X1 one,its a straight swap either way if the M2 dash has a tacho.

Yeah, it should work, the mount holes are the same, the gauges are the same diameter, etc...

Yes, the gauges come out of the dash, BUT, be carefull when removing the wiring... unhook one wire, then, put the screw back in, do it that way... is you leave all the screws out, the gauge face WILL SHIFT... and its a REAL PITA to get things lined back up...

Chase

EDIT, do you have the ability to make you own dash panel? I made mine...
